YOU previously reported on the loss of Dormanstown's Cllr Cliff Houlding after many years of community service, and leaders of all political groups on the council paying tribute to his integrity and hard work.
As his widow and his close friend, we accept a recent by- election chose Liberal Democrat Eric Howden as his successor. What we cannot accept, however, are the thoughtless and untrue comments reported by Cllr Howden (Election Success Makes It Three In A Row, News, 25.07.09) that "the ward has been neglected for so long".See the full content of this document
