TEESSIDE University is strengthening its links with Darlington, with work to get under way on a new pounds 13m building in the town.

The university's board of governors has given its approval for a new five-storey building. Set to be completed by June 2011, it will be located beside Darlington College's buildings in Central Park, developing further the long standing partnership between Darlington College and the university.
