THE Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague has repeated his party's pledge to hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty if the treaty has not been ratified by every country, when (and if) the Conservatives become the government.
However, he has repeatedly refused to say that they would hold a referendum if the treaty should have been ratified by all 27 member states. I do not think that it would be unfair to presume that the Conservatives would not hold a referendum in that eventuality.See the full content of this document
