The Government's fingerprints are all over this closure. If pounds 60m can be conjured up to help three days after the closure announcement, why wasn't it available before? Some of the money is to fund carbon capture and storage; if this had happened earlier it could have reduced the Corus carbon bill, making the steel cheaper.See the full content of this document
