A pounds 38M project at Corus on Teesside is leading the global steel industry towards a greener future, it was revealed today.

The Corus Teesside Technology Centre in Grangetown, Middlesbrough is home to 120 researchers at a small-scale steel-making site, designed to develop breakthrough technologies for steel production in a bid to halve carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 2050.
