A GRATEFUL Teesside woman believes her sister's cancer battle saved her own life.
In a strangely similar set of circumstances, Anne Lightowler and sister Karen Palmer were both dealt the devastating news they had Hodgkin's lymphoma. But after seeing brave Anne battle the disease, younger sister Karen was able to detect her own cancer at an early stage - and beat it too.
