SKILLS stricken process industries in the Tees Valley have linked up with the Government to encourage more new entrants.

Stephen Timms, Department for Work and Pensions Minister for Employment and Welfare Reform, launched the partnership on Teesside yesterday, which aims to get 6,000 people off benefits and into work by March 2009.
