Summary
Darren Bilton from Leeds City AC was a clear winner of the Loftus and Whitby Poultry Run. He came home in 42min 16sec, almost two minutes ahead of second placed John Hunter from the host club.
The first two runners were both veterans, and the first open man home was Sean O'Grady from New Marske Harriers in 44.22. Andrew Wiles from Middlesbrough and Cleveland Harriers finished fourth. Other fine runs came from Richard Bellamy (North York Moors) sixth, Mike Jefferies (Billingham Marsh House) eighth and Richard Morrell (Middlesbrough and Cleveland) ninth.
