KEEN cyclist Joe Leighton decided to forego the usual beer and partying for his 21st birthday and did a gruelling 100 mile bike ride instead!

Joe, a mechanical fitter from Corus, completed the tough bike ride with his friend Paul Murrell, 20, as they racked up the miles for the Great North Air Ambulance.
