Prison Slammed by Inquest Jury

AN inquest into the death of an inmate in HMP Holme House has ruled he suffered neglect and a string of failings in his care before he killed himself.

A barrister representing the family of prisoner Barry Taylor, 67, branded the jury's findings a "damning indictment" of the jail's health care centre at the time. He said lessons were "crying out to be learned".
