I WAS interested in the picture (above) and the story Mosque Plans Are On Track (News, 07.09.09) about the first purpose-built mosque on Teesside.

Standing on the corner of Bowesfield Lane (not Road) and Westbourne Street, it occupies the site formerly filled by the Bowesfield Lane Primitive Methodist Chapel.
