TENNIS TEESSIDE'S Sarah Borwell has won through to the second round of the Australian Open women's doubles in Melbourne.
Along with American Raquel Kops-Jones, she defeated Polona Hercog and Petra Martic 6-4 7-6 (7/3). It was a good morning for the British women in the doubles as Elena Baltacha also progressed to the second round. Following her upset victory over 30th seed Kateryna Bondarenko in the singles.
