Summary
I have enjoyed going to the Odeon ever since it opened in February 1939. It was beautiful and spacious inside, but on the outside the only thing of beauty was the large entrance and steps. The rest of the building was a huge blank wall.
I am replying to the report (What Next for Demolition, Gazette, News, 30.8.06) in which it said "the Acklam Hotel didn't have as much architectural beauty as the CSI and the Odeon".See the full content of this document
