Summary
WITH the closure of Thornaby depot comes yet another golden opportunity for Stockton Council to miss the boat (as far as cashing in on our railway heritage goes) and not turn this perfect site into a railway museum to rival that of York.
Road and rail links are in place. It would create a good number of jobs and importantly on two counts it would give the people of the borough something to be proud of while bringing much needed tourists to the area.See the full content of this document
