A GRIEVING couple spoke of their enduring love for their baby girl who lived for only three days. Little Kimberley Wright-King was born on July 29 last year after a seemingly smooth pregnancy and labour. But three days later, her mum found her unconscious and unresponsive. Desperate attempts to save the baby's life proved unsuccessful. Kimberley had suffered persistent pulmonary hypertension, a serious condition caused by changes in the blood supply to the lungs.

Although she had seemed unsettled and didn't want to sleep, her condition was not detected until a post-mortem was carried out. Today, her heartbroken parents Claire Hoggart and John Wright-King, who live in Hemlington in Middlesbrough, told how the tragedy affected their lives. "It's a pain we never want to go through again," said John, 38. "You just never expect your children to go before you. "She was loved so much and we miss her every day." Claire, 23, said: "She was a daddy's girl. She looked so much like her dad. When she went to her dad she would settle.
