Summary
REDCAR'S Christmas lights may be rubbish but they are in keeping with a town that's no more than a slum. Boarded-up shops, cheap bazaars, shoddy fashion outlets (M&S now included), soon no Woolworths, a promenade of eyesores, Newcomen Terrace with its toy bandstand and plastic penguins, and Coatham - once the cream of Redcar - now nothing more than a ghetto.
As a Redcar-born person, it's sad to see it sink so low after everything it once had with assets too numerous to mention.See the full content of this document
