IN RESPONSE to Mr Widlinski's letter, he said in 2002 there were 100,000 asylum applications in the UK. We ranked ninth in the EU. This is 2008 so how many do we have in this country now?

Does he live in the real world, saying it is a myth that the UK is a soft touch? Why do these people who want to get into this country do so on the back of lorries? Why don't they stay in France?
