Summary
MUCH has been said and written about the sale of alcohol recently. I have been involved in the hospitality business for 35 years and it is my belief there are three main causes of the problems facing the pub industry today.
THIS GOVERNMENT: The main cause of the collapse of this industry. They dragged their feet on changing licensing laws and still got it very badly wrong. I am well aware of the problems alcohol abuse can cause but I also believe most publicans act responsibly.
