WITH skills remaining high on the Government's agenda, a recent visit by maths guru Johnny Ball to KP Snacks in Billingham to deliver tips on everyday number-crunching was well received by the staff.
KP Snacks is an employer taking its responsibility to staff development seriously, by equipping colleagues with the skills to help them to succeed at work. It has a team of five Union Learning Representatives (ULRs) on site to engage with fellow workers to provide information, advice and critical support to enable hundreds of staff to improve and develop their skills and gain qualifications for both personal and professional gain.
