A COASTAL charity wants a small wooden boat to help brighten up the garden at Whitby's St Catherine's Day Hospice on the West Cliff.
ParticipAction Whitby's team is carrying out work to spruce up the hospice grounds. The therapeutic horticultural outfit enables people with mental health problems, learning difficulties and those who are disadvantaged or isolated, to develop skills in horticultural activities. As part of this gardening project they are looking for an unused wooden rowing boat to make a centrepiece of their display at the hospice. Members would be delighted if any fisherman or local seafarer in the area has one which they can donate to the group and get it to the day hospice.See the full content of this document
