LOCAL rugby cynics said it would never take off, others grumbled that another Middlesbrough club wasn't needed, but the new South Park Rangers squad are feeling on top of the world and are looking forward to the future.

The new kids on the oval ball block beat Northallerton II 24-0 recently and the week after saw off Bishop Auckland II 114-0 with the referee stopping the game 10 minutes early.
