Summary
Conservative MP Greg Clark recently introduced the "Protection of Private Gardens Bill" to Parliament which was designed to put an end to the problem that so many areas now face, that of houses and flats being built in the gardens of other houses.
At present gardens are classified as brown belt land, meaning that there is little a council can do to prevent anyone with a large garden from seeking to build on it.See the full content of this document
