GRINTON and Reeth are set at the heart of some of Swaledale's most stunning scenery, with riverside settings offering clues to busier days of lead mining activity.
Starting from the Bridge Inn, Grinton, we head northwards across the road bridge and then turn right on the riverside path (where care is needed because of raised tree roots). Our route runs past Ewelop Hill (on our left) to reach a stile and we then bear left up the slope between hawthorn trees to a metal field gate beside the road.See the full content of this document
