While 2004 was one of the most significant in the airports history, Durham Tees Valley Airport enters 2005 with a record start.

During January the number of people using the airport was 52,928 ( an increase of 35.5pc over the January 2004 figures. This continued in February with an increase of 22.4pc compared to the corresponding month in 2004.
