A DRIVER airlifted to hospital after his car turned on to its roof in Stockton was described as "poorly but stable" today.
Passers-by are believed to have helped the man, thought to be in his 30s, out of the Renault Laguna following the collision shortly after 10am yesterday. The accident happened on Durham Road between Thorpe Thewles and Thorpe Larches - and the man was taken via air ambulance to James Cook University Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.See the full content of this document
