Summary
A pipe fitter died from the industrial disease mesothelioma, an inquest heard.
Leonard Bowring, of Cornforth Close, Stockton, was taken into the University Hospital of North Tees on July 13, but died three days later. The hearing was told the 67-year-old had been exposed to asbestos during his working life across the North-east. A post mortem examination found Mr Bowring died from malignant mesothelioma, caused by exposure to the deadly fibres. Teesside's assistant deputy Coroner Anthony Eastwood recorded a verdict that Mr Bowring died as a result of industrial disease.See the full content of this document
