Summary
I AM a very frequent user of Acklam Road and, since the new crossing has been installed near the Bluebell, I have never had to stop for anyone waiting to cross but there are always people of all ages trying to cross within yards of the crossing.
Have the authorities wasted their money in installing the crossing? It is a pity that the street wardens do not have the means to charge on the spot fines for offenders. This would either reduce accidents or collect money to help pay for the unused crossing.See the full content of this document
