I AM 45 years of age, live in the Middlesbrough area and become unemployed in January.

I received a letter from the Department of Working Tax Pensions telling me that they were going to take money out of my benefits - no reason was given. When I rang I was told that in 1992 (18 years ago) I was apparently overpaid pounds 84 in benefits.
