Fairfield Library in Stockton is throwing a party to celebrate serving the public for 40 years.
Anyone with a connection to the library is invited to go along to help celebrate at a coffee morning on Wednesday April 26. Staff past and present will be there for a chat and to share memories of times gone by. There will be a display of memorabilia from Stockton Council's Library Service, both past and present, and photographs of Fairfield Library, in Fairfield Road, from its opening in 1966 until as it is now.
