BERYL (Mrs D) and I enjoyed reading Dave Robson's piece in the Gazette (28.07.10), no wonder he is the North East Columnist of the Year.

He made a dull story sparkle -like the comments about the food. Normally I have to declare the food (over pounds 25), however a cup of cold coffee and a piece of cake on a Sunday afternoon -no need to declare.
