A furious Teesside shopkeeper hit out at Cleveland Police today after waiting almost 12 hours before officers turned up to investigate a break-in.

Aristide Samson, 28, spent the night waiting in his car outside his shop in Princes Road, Middlesbrough, after raiders smashed their way through the shutters about 11.30pm on Tuesday.
