BORO chairman Steve Gibson today dismissed rumours that the club was on the verge of going into administration as "nonsense".
In his first official interview since October, Gibson told the Evening Gazette that the speculation was both wrong and mischievous. In fact - the massive wage bill apart - Gibson insisted he was satisfied with the financial state of the club and stressed his continuing commitment. He said: "I don't know where these stories come from. It's all nonsense. "People who spread these rumours are no friends of Middlesbrough Football Club. "But most people in the town are fantastic and they are behind the club and they enjoy being a part of things.See the full content of this document
