Energy From Waste Projects Bring More Jobs
A SERIES of energy-from-waste plant announcements in 2010 will turn Teesside into a hub for the technology - and create more jobs for the area. Just last month, SITA UK on Teesside revealed it's in the running for a pounds 1.2bn contract to turn household waste from Merseyside into green energy. Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority (MWDA) has whittled its shortlist down to two bidders for the 30-year PFI contract.
